University Awarded Grants For Medical Breakthroughs

The University of Missouri’s Coulter Translational Partnership awarded three grants totaling $302 thousand dollars today [Monday] to help promising medical discoveries make the transition from laboratory research to commercial investment and direct patient care.

The funds will be used for development of a technology to improve upon heart magnetic resonance imaging techniques, to develop a low cost, point of care test to assess testosterone levels and towards a cryptopreservation system to increase the length of time that transplantable heats can be stored.
