True Manufacturing, Ben’s Auto Body Honored At Commerce And Industry Dinner

The Mexico Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Commerce and Industry dinner at Steinman’s Banquet Hall Tuesday night.

True Manufacturing was honored with the Commerce and Industry award.

True has been in business for 70 years making commercial refrigeration units. True expanded into the Mexico community in 1992 and the plant has become the primary manufacturing facility for its Glass Door Merchandisers line.

True’s owner, Steve Trulaske, says moving to Mexico was a great decision.

The winner of the E. Warner Williams business award is Ben’s Auto Body.

Owner Ben Steinman said at the presentation the award was bittersweet as they recently sold to Fisher Auto Body.

Steinman says he is honored, and thanks the Mexico community.

Other nominees for the award were Sydenstricker, KXEO/KWWR, and Westlakes.
