Arrest Made In Darnell Gray Death

An arrest is now made in connection with the death of 4 year old Darnell Gray in Jefferson City.

According to Lt. David Williams with the Jefferson City Police Department as a result of interviews and interrogations, 26 year old Quatavia L. Givens of Jefferson City has been arrested for First Degree Child Abuse resulting in death.

Givens was previously identified as the caregiver who reported the child missing.

She is being held in the Cole County Jail and a full criminal investigation is ongoing.
