One person is injured and one has died after a car crash in Audrain County just before 5:00 yesterday [Monday] afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports it happened when 41 year old Bonnie Heying of Perry was traveling on U.S. 54 traveled off the right side of the road and hit a ditch before overturning.
Heying and her passenger, 21 year old Lucas Kerr were transported to SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Mexico where Heying was pronounced dead.
Kerr sustained moderate injuries.
