Fulton Man Pleads Guilty To Sex Crimes
A prior sex offender in Fulton admitted in federal court today [Monday] he paid his grandmother $400 to travel to Alabama to pick up a 13 year old girl with the intention having sexual relations with her.
Twenty one year old Michael James Collins was a resident at the Community Supervision Center in Fulton while he was on probation for a prior conviction of sexual misconduct involving a child.
Callaway deputies received information the child was missing from her home, and a ping to her cell phone placed her at a residence in Fulton.
Collins and the victim met on an online dating site.
He faces a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
