KXEO Sports Report for 3/22/18: Jennies Going for National Title, Baseball Tigers, Cardinals, and Royals all Win, Blues Overtime Thriller

The Central Missouri Jennies Women’s Basketball Team are will playing for a NCAA Division II Championship after defeating Union 70-57 yesterday (Wednesday).

The Jennies will be trying to win their first ever National Title.


Their opponent is Ashland who is 36-0 this season.

The game will be played tomorrow (Friday) night in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a 7pm tip and can be seen on the CBS Sports Network.

The 25th ranked Missouri Tigers Baseball Team completed a midweek sweep of Arkansas State 14-9 yesterday (Wednesday).

Mizzou scored seven runs in the fifth inning and matched a 62 year old school record with 10 stolen bases in the game.

The Tigers are now 17-5 on the year.

The St. Louis Blues won their third straight game in overtime last (Wednesday) night beating the Boston Bruins 2-1.

Jaden Schwartz tied the game for St. Louis in the third and buried the overtime winner.

In spring training baseball the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Miami Marlins 13-6.

The Kansas City Royals defeated the Cleveland Indians 12-8.
