Nine People Die On Missouri Highways During Thanksgiving Counting Period

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports nine people died in traffic crashes during this year’s Thanksgiving holiday counting period.

The counting period began on Wednesday, November 21st and ended last (Sunday) night at 11:59.

587 crashes, 108 injuries, and 86 DWI’s are being reported.

The fatalities occurred in Lee’s Summit, Springfield, Jefferson City, Willow Springs, St. Joseph, and four in the Weldon Spring area.
