Mexico Boys and Girls Basketball Pick Up Wins In Doubleheader vs. Kirksville
Wins for both the Mexico Boys and Girls basketball teams in a doubleheader tonight (Tuesday).
The Mexico Lady dogs picked up their first win of the season in dominating fashion 58-31 over Kirksville.
Three bulldogs with 13 points included Raigan Playter, Regan Smith, and Logan Blevins.
The Lady bulldogs are now 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the NCMC with a conference road game on Friday vs. Hannibal.
The Mexico Boys basketball team also picked up their first win of the year with a 61-57 victory over Kirksville.
It was a close contest through out and the Bulldogs led in points by freshman Isiah Reams who threw down 20 points and nailed 3 from behind the arc.
Jai Lawson with 14 points and 2 three pointers.
Mexico is 1-2 on the season and evened their record in the NCMC at 1-1.
Mexico travels to Hannibal Friday night for an NCMC battle with the Pirates.
