Charges Filed Against Mizzou Defensive End

The Boone County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Mizzou Defensive End Tre Williams with domestic assault according to court records.

The charges come a day after Boone County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Susan Boresi reported to The Missourian the Rock Bridge standout would not be charged.

In a statement, Prosecuting Attorney Dan Knight said “The case involving Tre Williams has not been dismissed. Because this is a pending case, no further comment will be made by this office at this time.”

Williams was arrested on Sunday after allegedly becoming physically aggressive with a woman he was in a relationship with.
