Long Time Judge Died Sunday

A long time 12th circuit judge died unexpectedly yesterday. [Sunday]

Judge Wesley Dalton was 60 years old when he complained of chest pain yesterday afternoon. An ambulance took him to SSM Health St. Joseph in Lake St. Louis where was pronounced deceased.

Dalton was set to retire after 18 years on the bench at the end of this year. He presided over Audrain, Montgomery and Warren Counties.

A celebration of life will be held Friday at Faith Christian Family Church in Warrenton. Visitation is Thursday from 1:30 until 8:00 at the church.
