Columbia Fugitive Believed To Be Hiding In Iceland
A man accused of planting a camera in a public library bathroom in Columbia is believed to be hiding out in Iceland.
A federal complaint filed today [Thursday] alleges Jay Robinson left the country shortly after his arrest in August.
A search warrant of the camera equipment also revealed Robinson allegedly forcibly raped someone.
According to Homeland Security, Robinson took a flight from Chicago to Iceland on August 5, at 11:40 PM.
In addition to the existing charges of invasion of privacy, sodomy and rape, he is now charged with traveling overseas in an attempt to avoid prosecution.
