Mexico And Tipton Split Double Header at Mexico Tyronn Lue Classic

It was a split decision for Mexico and Tipton basketball at the Mexico Tyronn Lue Classic tonight (Thursday).

The Mexico girls were beaten 64-44 against a very talented Tipton team.

Reghan Smith and Logan Blevins each had 12 points to lead the team in scoring.

Shebi Shaw and Regan Playter with six points each.

The Lady Bulldogs fell to 3-5 overall and are back at it tomorrow (Friday) to face the Bowling Green Bobcats with a 7 pm tip.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys snapped a four game losing streak defeating Tipton 64 to 56 in the final game of the evening of the Mexico Tyronn Lue Classic.

Three in double digits for the Bulldogs were Jai Lawson with 20, Isiah Reams with 17, and Zack Watkins with 10.

The Bulldogs raised their record to 3-7 on the year.

They play in the featured game again tomorrow (Friday) night against the Bowling Green Bobcats with an 8:30 scheduled tip.
