The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that will go into effect at 8:00 this evening [Tuesday] and continue until 9:00 tomorrow [Wednesday] morning.
The counties predicted to be impacted are Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Lincoln, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, Shelby and Warren.
A light glaze of ice is expected as freezing drizzle moves into the area.
The conditions could impact travel overnight and in the morning commute.
