Mexico Superintendent Dr. Zach Templeton Explains Decision Making on School Cancellation

Several factors went into the decision to cancel classes today (Wednesday) for the Mexico Public Schools according to Superintendent Dr. Zach Templeton.

Windchill was a main contributing factor.

Dr. Templeton says another reason for the cancellation was because of how the buses perform in the cold weather.

The Mexico Public Schools are now three days past the original last day of school and Dr. Templeton says the last day of school now will be on Tuesday, May 21st barring anymore days missed.
