Columbia Public Schools announced today [Thursday] that Jennifer Rucksted has been selected as the new assistant superintendent for secondary education.
Rucksted is currently the principal at Rock Bridge High School, a position she has held since 2013.
She holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership from the University of Missouri.
Rucksted will begin her new role on July 1.
