A 64 year old woman is dead after a house fire in Audrain County early this (Saturday) morning.
According to Little Dixie Fire Chief Kenneth Hoover it happened in the 13000 block of Audrain County Road around 2:30 this (Saturday) morning.
Chief Hoover reports the exact cause of the fire is not clear hover it originated around a pellet stove.
The name of the victim is not being released as family members are still being notified.
