Audrain County Health Department personnel, civic and county leaders continue their collaborative meetings.
In this afternoon’s (Wednesday’s) meeting, SSM personnel stated that they are not looking at changing visiting guidelines just yet and no volunteers will be allowed during the month of May.
Elective surgeries may resume in May but additional discussion is needed before making the final decision.
SSM is also fine with the amount of personal protective equipment they have available.
Officials with the Mexico YMCA say they will re-open parts of the facility on May 11th, but with limitations on number of users at a time.
The walking track and wellness center will be limited to 20 users each at any given time.
The gym will be open for overflow capacity for those wanting to walk, and there will be no basketball, pickleball, or swimming allowed.
The dressing rooms will remain closed.
The collaborative meetings are held every other Wednesday afternoon.
