Cause of Fire At Mexico Hardee’s Unknown

The cause of a fire at the Mexico Hardee’s early this (Friday) morning is under investigation.

Mexico Public Safety says at approximately 1:19 this (Friday) morning they went to the Hardee’s in the 700 block of West Jackson.

Several passersby saw flames coming from the roof of the building towards the back.

The fire was found in the office area of the business and was spreading above the drop ceiling.

It was extinguished with significant fire damage, as well as heat and smoke damage to the rest of the building.

There were no injuries reported.

It is unknown at this time when the business will re-open.

The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office is working to determine the cause of the fire.
