The Mexico City Council will meet tonight [Monday] to discuss changes to some building codes in the city.
The council will hold a first reading to update the current 13 year old codes to 2015 standards.
If approved, the new codes would apply to building, residences, mechanics, fire, plumbing, maintenance and gas fuel.
The City Council meeting will take place on the third floor of Mexico City Hall at 7:00.
The meeting is open to the public.
