Jefferson City Board Of Education Approves New School Start Times

New start times are on the way for the Jefferson City Public Schools starting next year.

Approval was given by the Jefferson City Public Board last (Monday) night for elementary schools to start at 7:45, with secondary schools starting around an hour later.

According to Jefferson City Schools Superintendent Larry Linthacum the change will allow the school to improve attendance numbers and save money in the future.
