An escaped inmate from the Pettis County Jail is now on the run in Oklahoma.
The Heavener, Oklahoma police chief says officers arrested 30 year old Travis Davis at a travel plaza this (Wednesday) morning.
Police say Davis, managed to get his handcuffed hands in front of him and break through the cage partition separating the back and front of the patrol car and then drove off.
Davis crashed the police car in a rural area outside the town, and officers have brought in search dogs to help find him.
Davis escaped from the Pettis County Jail on Sunday.
