Jefferson City Car Crash

Two people were injured in a Jefferson City crash just after 1:00 yesterday [Friday] afternoon in the 700 block of Michigan Street.

Jefferson City Police say the driver of the vehicle, 31 year old Darrelle Curtis, suffered a medical emergency. He then struck an unoccupied parked car, causing Curtis’ vehicle to overturn.

Curtis and his passenger, 24 year old Sequita Bradford were able to escape the vehicle that then caught fire and was extinguished by the Jefferson City Fire Department.

Curtis sustained moderate injuries, and Bradford was seriously injured. Both were taken to a Columbia Hospital for treatment.
