In local sports the Rock Bridge Bruins boys basketball team are the Class 5 champions after beating Christian Brothers 63-59 on Saturday.
The Jefferson City Jays Girls basketball team took second place in Class 5 in Springfield on Saturday.
They lost to North Kansas City 43-34 in the championship game.
The selections for this years NCAA tournament are out.
The Saint Louis Billikens are going dancing as a 14 seed.
The Billikens beat St. Bonaventure 55-53 yesterday (Sunday) in the Atlantic 10 tournament championship.
Duke, Virginia, Gonzaga, and North Carolina all earned a number 1 seed.
Play in games for the tournament start tomorrow (Tuesday).
The St. Louis Blues lost to the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 yesterday (Sunday).
The Blues did gain a point despite the loss which allows them to hang on to third place in the Central Division.
