A wanted man is now in the Randolph County Jail after attempting to barricade himself inside a housing complex in Moberly last (Monday) night.
Moberly Officers say they received information that 51 year old Chris J. Smith was in the Allendale Manor Complex last (Monday) night.
Smith had several Randolph County Warrants for his arrest including one Class D Felony for Burglary according to police.
Officers say they tried to contact Smith at the residence and he refused to come to the door, and also took measures to fortify the front the and back doors with furniture.
Officers were eventually able to get in through the front door and Smith was arrested.
