The escaped Pettis County inmate Travis Davis is now in police custody.
According to Sedalia Police Davis was arrested and returned to the Pettis County Jail this (Tuesday) morning.
He escaped from the jail on March 9th and reportedly fled to Oklahoma where he stole and wrecked a police car, then returned to Missouri in a stolen truck.
The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office says Davis was arrested and taken into custody after an extensive search in Cooper County last (Monday) night.
