Mexico native Wilson lost his first match 10-5 to Matt Finesilver from Duke.


In the wrestleback Wilson lost 10-1 to Joe Grello from Rutgers.

The Mexico Bulldogs baseball team have their home opener tonight (Friday) against the Moberly Spartans.

Head Coach Brandon Schafer says his team has been working on hitting over the last couple of days.


Coach Schafer says Zach Watkins will get the starting pitching duties tonight (Friday).

Games begin at 5 pm.

Mizzou wrestling is sending six of its nine NCAA qualifiers to the second round.

The Tigers are in sixth place in the team competition following the first session of the NCCA Division 1 Wrestling Championships yesterday (Thursday).

Those advancing are Daniel Lewis, Jaydin Eierman each pinning their opponents.

Two freshman advancing are Brock Mauller and Zach Elam.

Also moving on John Erneste and Connor Flynn.

The St. Louis Blues with a 5-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings at home last (Thursday) night.

Ivan Barbashev tallied his first NHL hat trick and Alexander Steen earned three assists in the win.

The St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals each won in spring training baseball yesterday (Thursday).

The Cardinals pounded the New York Yankees 11-3, while the Royals took out the Cincinnati Reds 14-6.
