Power now restored in Jefferson City after a vehicle crashed into a pad-mounted transformer last (Friday) night causing an outage for several people.
Jefferson City Police say a juvenile drove into the box on Candlelight Drive and left the scene.
Officers stopped the vehicle a short distance away and detained the juvenile.
Ameren’s outage map showed 35 customers were without power in the area where the crash happened.
