Assault at the Hannibal Hardee’s
One person is in the hospital and another person in the Marion County Jail after a fight at the Hannibal Hardee’s yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
Police say it happened around 3:38 at the Hardee’s at 2900 James Road.
It was reported a man was being verbally abusive to both employees and patrons of the business.
Eventually a physical altercation erupted between the man and employees of the business.
As a result of the altercation the verbally abusive man suffered serious injuries and remains in the hospital.
33 year old Damien X. Fugate of Hannibal was arrested for assault.
