Mizzou Women’s Basketball dropped their game against Iowa 68-52 in the 2nd Round of the NCAA Tournament yesterday (Sunday).

Junior Guard Amber Smith led the way for Mizzou on offense with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.


In her final game as a Tiger Sophie Cunningham scored eight points.

The Tigers end their season at 24-11 on and 10-6 in the SEC.

In Spring training baseball yesterday (Sunday) the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Miami Marlins 2-1.

The Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers ended in a 3-3 tie.

Former Mizzou wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is announcing his retirement from the NFL after 8 seasons.

Maclin played for the Philadelphia Eagles for five seasons after being drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Maclin finishes his NFL career with 514 receptions, 6,835 yards receiving and 49 touchdowns.

Maclin spent 2 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and one year with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Missouri Tigers wrestling wrapped up its bouts at the 2019 NCAA Division I Championship Saturday and saw four of it nine qualifiers place in the top six of their respective weight classes.

Junior Jaydin Eierman earned third at 141, senior Daniel Lewis took fourth at 174.

Senior John Erneste and true freshman Brock Mauller earned sixth place nods.

All four are All-Americans, giving Mizzou at least four All-Americans in three straight seasons.

Mizzou finished sixth as a team in the tournament with 62 points, a half point behind Michigan.
