The Audrain County League of Women Voters hosted a candidate forum Thursday evening presenting questions to candidates for Mexico City Council and the Mexico Board of Education.
Incumbent City Councilman Chris Williams addressed the crowd saying one of the major issues facing the City is the pool. He says he has been a member of the council for the process, and the City has been putting money back to address the issue.
The eight candidates for the Board of Education answered a variety of questions ranging from what they see as major issues facing the school district, to what they would do to prevent bullying and suicide in the district.
