Missouri Senate Passes Bill On Jury Duty For The Elderly

A new bill approved in the Missouri Senate yesterday (Thursday) would excuse older residents in the state from jury duty.

The bill would allow anyone age 75 or older to ask a court to get out of jury duty.

A judge would need to grant the request.

The legislation will now be sent to the Missouri House of Representatives.
