The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory that will go into effect tomorrow [Thursday] morning at 10:00 a.m. and will expire at 7:00 p.m. for the entire listening area.
According to the weather service, south winds blowing at 20 to 30 miles per hour and gusting up 45 miles per hour are expected during the late morning will continue through the early evening.
Impacts could include scattered power outages and may blow down limbs, trees and power lines.
Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles on east-west oriented roads and highways.
These winds could also lift and move trash cans, lawn furniture and other loose outdoor objects.
