Mexico Public Safety Investigating Several Burglaries At Central Business District

Mexico Public Safety is releasing information today (Friday) about some recent burglary investigations in the area.

According to the department during the weekend of March 29th through March 31st they responded to a business in the Central Business District that had been burglarized.

Information gathered at that time, indicated the crime was linked to some crimes outside the city of Mexico.

The same business was burglarized again last weekend April 5th through April 7th.

Four suspects were arrested for the offenses this week on Wednesday, and yesterday (Thursday).

One was taken to the Audrian County Jail for outstanding warrants with 3 being released pending a further investigation and warrants by the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney.

An investigation is continuing.
