Royals starting pitcher Jorge Lopez brought his A stuff to the mound however it was not enough.
Lopez struck out a career high 10 batters, however surrendered three home runs in the loss.
The Royals are 0-5 on the road this season.
The St. Louis Blues fell in overtime 2-1 to the Winnipeg Jets in the playoffs last (Tuesday) night.
The series is now tied at 2 games a piece. Game 5 goes back to Winnipeg tomorrow (Thursday) night.
In NFL news the Seattle Seahawks and quarterback Russell Wilson have agreed to a record breaking four year, 140 million dollar contract extension.
The new deal was announced last night and comes just before Wilson’s deadline for a new deal passed.
