Charges are being dropped against the man accused of a killing spree in 2016 and captured in Montgomery City and who reportedly hung himself in a St. Louis Jail last week.
The Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office reports the state filed a case dismissal yesterday (Tuesday) solely due to Pablo Serrano-Vitorino’s death.
The office says as the defendant is deceased, the criminal case can no longer be pursued.
Vitirino was found unresponsive in a St. Louis Jail on April 9th where he was later taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
He was facing the death penalty in Missouri for the shooting death of Randy Nordman of New Florence on March 8, 2016 at his home.
The night before, he is believed to have shot and killed 4 men in Kansas City, Kansas.
