Man Arrested For Second Time For Suspicious Activity At Columbia Middle School

The same man who was issued a no trespass warning last week for suspicious activity at Columbia’s Gentry Middle School was arrested in connection to a suspicious incident yesterday (Tuesday) at Columibia’s West Middle School.

A suspicious vehicle was reported yesterday (Tuesday) morning at the West Middle School around 7:10.

Police were able to identify the vehicle as belonging to 53 year old Kelvin Joe of Columbia.

Last week on April 9th, two suspicious incidents were investigated at the Gentry Middle School and College Park Christian School.

Joe was arrested for First Degree Trespass.

Due to Joe willfully violating the trespass warning from the previous incident, Columbia Police have requested a bond increase and the Boone County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has petitioned the judge for a higher bond.
