The Mexico Bulldogs baseball team with a 6-4 win over the Fulton Hornets last (Friday) night.

Cole Whalen went 2-4 at the plate.

Gage Worley added a stolen base.

The Bulldogs picked up their 7th win of the year which surpassed the win totals from the previous two years.

Mexico plays Fulton again on Monday at 4.

The 19th ranked Missouri Tigers baseball team defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks 5-2 at Taylor Stadium last (Friday) night.

Mizzou improved to 28-15-1 on the season.


Missouri Tigers Softball with an 8-3 loss Mississippi State. A 7 run fourth inning from Mississippi State proved to be to much to overcome.

Mizzou Football senior quarterback Drew Lock was selected by the Denver Broncos in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft last (Friday) night.

Lock was the 42nd overall selection, and 10th pick of the 2nd round.

The St. Louis Cardinals had their 5 game winning streak come to an end with a 12-1 loss to the Cincinnati Reds last (Friday) night.

The Reds hit three home runs last (Friday) night.

It marked the fourth time in five games the Redbirds surrendered at least home three home runs.

The Kansas City Royals with a 5-1 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.

Royals pitcher Danny Duffy gave up a two run home run in the first inning to Albert Pujols.

The homer gave Pujols 1,995 career RBI’s, moving him past Lou Gehrig and into fourth place on the all time list.
