The Mexico Bulldogs lost 7-2 to the Fulton Hornets in the opening round of the Fulton Baseball Tournament last (Monday) night.

Gage Worley and Zach Watkins went 2-3 from the plate in the loss.

The Bulldogs play again on Thursday at 6:30 against a team yet to be decided.

In other action from the Fulton tournament Southern Boone beat North Callaway 4-1, Fatima over Moberly 11-1.

In soccer Mexico held on for a 3-2 victory over Moberly.

In tennis it was Hickman defeating Mexico 8-1.

The St. Louis Cardinals are riding a three game winning streak after defeating the Washington Nationals 6-3 on the road last (Monday) night.

Yadier Molina extended his hitting streak to 16 games, tying his career best.

Harrison Bader hit a home run.

And Jordan Hicks picked up his 9th save.

The Kansas City Royals with an 8-5 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.

A bright spot for the Royals came in the seventh inning when right fielder Jorge Soler launched a monster home run over the left field fountains, that traveled an estimated 447 feet.

The St. Louis Blues remained undefeated on the road in the NHL playoffs taking out the Dallas Stars 4-3 in game 3 of the Western Conference Second Round playoffs.

Jaden Schwartz and Tyler Bozak each had a goal and an assist, and Jordan Binnington made 28 saves for the Blues.

Pat Maroon was the hero scoring the tie-breaking goal with 1:38 left in the third period.

The Blues are now 4-0 on the road in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Blues lead the Stars 2-1 in the series with Game 4 taking place in Dallas tomorrow (Wednesday) night.
