Man Pleads To Lesser Charge In Jefferson City Murder

A man charged in connection with the November 2018 shooting of Nilez Nichols in Jefferson City pleaded guilty to a lesser charge today. [Friday]

Twenty one year old Semaj Harris admitted to stealing a controlled substance and was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

He had originally been charged with murder and burglary.

Nichols died as the result of a drug related incident at a home on Stadium Boulevard.
