Results From Some High School District Track, Tennis, and Soccer
It was a busy day for sports yesterday (Saturday) in high school district track, tennis, and soccer.

The Mexico Soccer team lost in double overtime 4-3 to Wright City.
It was a tight contest through out and was tied 5-5 after the first round of penalty kicks, before Wright City advanced in the second round of penalty kicks.

Raef Yager qualified for sectionals in the long jump.
The Mexico girls 4×4 relay team finished in 2nd place.
Kate Bledsoe finished 3rd in the high jump.
Monasia Sidique qualified for sectionals in the 400.

In tennis district action Mexico’s double team Muhammad Waheed and Ryan Pemberton finished 4th and received All District Honors.
Community R-6 track and field state qualifiers include Brianna Beamer in the 800 and 1600 meter.
In javelin and discus Natalie Thomas.
Evan Hartsock in the 4×200.
Eric Hombs in the 4×200 and the 4×400.
Caden Escamilla in the triple jump, 800 meter and the 4×400.
Danny Kuda in the 400 meter, 4×200 and the 4×400.
Austin Taylor in the 400 meter, 4×200 and the 4×400.
