A Marshall man is now charged following a shooting near Harley Park in Boonville yesterday [Wednesday] afternoon.
Boonville Police say 30 year old Derrick Anthony Young has been charged in Cooper County with two counts of first degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
His bond has been set at $500 thousand.
Young was arrested after two people were found with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was treated and released from University Hospital, while the other is in serious condition. Both are expected to survive.
