Over One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars In Repairs Needed On MO Route 15 In Audrain County After Pipeline Explosion

Repairs are getting ready to be made on Missouri Route 15, 1.6 miles north of Mexico in Audrain County after a pipeline explosion in March.


The Missouri Department of Transportation awarded a contract to Christensen Construction Company in the amount of one hundred forty thousand, five hundred ninety eight dollars and twenty three cents.

A start date to repair the damages has not been determined, however once the work begins the contractor will have 15 days to complete the project.

MoDOT is working with Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company to recoup the cost of repairing the damage caused by the explosion on March 3rd.
