Loud Sound May Be Heard From Pipeline Testing In Audrain County This Morning
A loud sound may be heard in the Audrain County area as Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line is conducting a planned maintenance this (Tuesday) morning.
According to an email from Energy Transfer the maintenance is taking place on the Centralia Pipeline 2000 near Highway Z and ending near Audrain County Road 457.
They are emptying the section of pipeline, and a loud sound may be heard as they blow down the line.
This is a controlled release and no cause for alarm according to the company.
It started at 9 am and is expected to last for a couple of hours.
