Parking Information Released For Fireworks Displays In Mexico
Mexico will be having two public fireworks displays for the Fourth of July Holiday this week.
The first display will be Thursday, July 4th at the Optimist Ball Fields and is sponsored by the Mexico Noon Lion’s Club.
The fireworks will be after dark, estimated to be after 9.
Mexico Public Safety is reminding people that there is no parking along Agricultural or along Summit Street from Agricultural to Craig Street.
The second fireworks display will be Friday, July 5th at Garfield Park and is sponsored by Tyronn Lue.
Tyronn Lou Boulevard will be closed in the area adjacent to the park around 6 that evening.
Parking will be allowed on the south side of Seminary, the south side of Central, the west side of Trinity, and the west side of Garfield starting around 6 pm and until the fireworks display is over.
Mexico Public Safety cannot authorize people to park on, or use the private property of another.
They are also reminding it is illegal to park in a manner that block intersections, alleys, or private driveways.
