One Woman, Two Deputies Injured In Shots Fired Incident In Ralls County

One woman and two deputies were injured in an altercation that led to shots being fired on Spencer Creek Lane in Ralls County last night. [Tuesday]

Sergeant Eric Brown with the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the Ralls County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a distraught woman who was armed.

During an altercation the deputies fired their weapons, hitting the woman, who has not yet been identified.

She was flown to a St. Louis hospital for treatment. Brown reports she is alive but he is unsure of her condition.

The two deputies also sustained minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital.

The Highway Patrol and the New London Police Department are assisting in the investigation.
