Hawley Files Education Bills

United States Senator Josh Hawley has filed two bill in an attempt to break up what he refers to as a “higher education monopoly.”

The first bill would make more job-training and certification programs eligible for Pell Grants.

The second would require colleges and universities to pay half of the outstanding balance when students default on loans.
