The Eastern Family YMCA in Vandalia is progressing after opening its door in February.
Branch Director Debbie Hopke says they have had the kitchen finished with equipment donated from a Van-Far graduate.
Hopke says the Vandalia YMCA has had visitors from around the state as well as Indiana, Colorado and a special visit by U.S. Senator Roy Blunt.
