A 3.3 billion dollar purchase of the parent company of Landmark Bank that operates in Columbia is being announced.
The announcement was made yesterday (Wednesday) that Simmons First National Corporation based in Pine Bluffs, Arkansas had purchased the Columbia based Landrum Company, the parent company of Landmark Bank.
It is anticipated that Landmark Bank will continue operations as a separate bank subsidiary of Simmons for a brief time before a merger happens.
Landmark Bank has 39 branches across Missouri.
