The St. Louis Blues and defenseman Joel Edmundson are agreeing to a one year deal.
An announcement was made yesterday (Tuesday) that Edmundson will be getting 3.1 million dollars for one year.
He was a restricted free agent.
The negotiations went to an arbitration hearing and the judge saw fit to award Edmundson the 3.1 million dollars.
The St. Louis Cardinals with a 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on the road last (Tuesday) night.
Despite the loss the Redbirds still only 2 and 1/2 games behind the Chicago Cubs for first place in the National League Central, however the Milwaukee Brewers are now just a half game behind St. Louis.
