Flash Flood Watch Issued For Parts of Mid-Missouri

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for several mid-Missouri counties.

The watch will go into effect at 7:00 this evening an will continue through tomorrow [Thursday] morning.

The impacted counties include Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Moniteau, Montgomery and Pike.

Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this evening and continue through the overnight hours, with rainfall totaling 2 to 4 inches.
